What is disulfiram?
Disulfiram is a medication that is used to treat alcohol use disorder. Disulfiram works by blocking the breakdown of alcohol in your body. By not allowing the alcohol to break down, a buildup of toxic alcohol-related compounds occurs, making you become sick.
